Shirley L. Britt Chavis, 77
Formerly of Aston. Died November 26, 2010 at Gilpin Hall in Wilmington, DE. Born in Herftford County, NC daughter of the late Willie and Annie B. Archer Britt.
Mrs. Chavis had been as resident of Aston since 1964 and previously lived in Lansdowne. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
Mrs. Chavis was wife of the late Harry T. Chavis who died in 1978.
Survivors: Daughter Renee D. Kozlowski (Ed) of Bear, DE, Loving and devoted companion of 29 years Raymond Shockley, Sr., of Media, grandchildren Ryan Kozlowski and Joe Kozlowski (his fiance Lindsay) and many close friends and family members.
Funeral Service: 10 AM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston where friends may call after 9 AM.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park.
