Shirley J. Carroll, 76 of Eddystone died on December 17, 2024.  Born in Ridley Park, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Shirley Tyson Carroll.
Shirley was a graduate of Eddystone High School, class of 1966 where she was the Salutatorian and received an associate's degree in business from Goldey-Beacom College.   Before her retirement, she worked for many years as a Personnel Clerk at the DuPont Chemical Company.  Shirley was very involved with the girl scouts growing up and was awarded the Curved Bar.  Shirley was active with the Schoolhouse Senior Center in Folsom where she always enjoyed participating in the Senior Olympics.
Shirley is survived by her sister Barbara J. Dykes (Wallace) and was the aunt of Jess Dykes, Robert Joseph Dykes and Jo-Anne Justus, she is also survived by four great-nephews and one great-niece.
Funeral Service 10:30 AM Thursday, December 26, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park.
