Sheila R. Murtha, 62, of Ridley Township died October 15, 2016 at Lankenau Hospital surrounded by her family and friends after a short battle with cancer. Born in Pittston, PA, she resided in Philadelphia before moving to her last residence 34 years ago.

Sheila was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1972 and was employed by Comcast as a supervisor in Corporate Payroll. She loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Sheila was predeceased by her father, Paul M. Murtha.

Daughter of Mary A. Gallagher Murtha; sister of Debbie Pitt (Dennis), MSGT Ret. Diane Michalek (David), MSGT Ret. Joanne Hancock (Bill), Carol Violette (Walt), Michael Murtha (Patty), Paul Murtha (De De) and Teresa DiSalvatore; also survived by her significant other,Tony Dintino; and many nieces and nephews

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday and 8:15-9:15 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park

Entombment: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
