Obituary
Sandra M. Wright, 66 passed away on June 11, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Upland, Sandy was daughter of the late Harry J. and Helen Tyman Ponci.
She was a Legal Secretary for Gollatz,Griffin and Ewing Law Firm for 27 years, retiring in 2007 and previously worked for Gulf Oil in Bala Cynwyd for 10 years.
Sandy was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Sea Isle and a former longtime member of St. John Chrysostom R.C. Church in Wallingford.
Sandy attended Our Lady of Peace Elementary School and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan in 1964.
She married Matthew B. Wright, Jr. in 1969 and they lived in Brookhaven before relocating to Sea Isle City, NJ in 2009.
Spending time with her family and friends was Sandy's passion. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother and a genuine and supportive friend.
Sandy is survived by her husband Matthew; her son Matthew P.; her daughter Laura O'Donnell (son-in-law, Kevin); her brother Harry J. Ponci, Jr. and stepmother Mary Repici Ponci.
Funeral Mass 11:00AM Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. John Chrysostom R.C. Church, 617 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA 19086.
Visitation 7 to 9PM Monday and 9:30 to 10:15AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial private.
Memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila., PA 19103.
