Sandra D. Shank Duckett, 65, of Media died February 7, 2018 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Chester, she is the daughter of Charles and Nancie P. Bassett Shank and resided in Prospect Park before moving to her late residence 30 years ago.

Sandra was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1970, Neumann University and Kutztown University.

She was employed by Springfield Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist for 15 years before retiring in 1993. She previously worked as a Department Head for Riverside Hospital.

Sandra was a member of St. Francis de Sales, where she taught CCD. She was also a member of the Delaware County and Wilmington Coin Clubs and the Delaware County Institute of Science.

Sandra was an avid reader, but most important was her family.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Katherine Duckett.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 41 years, William Duckett; her sons, Tim Duckett, Michael Duckett and Kevin Duckett; also, five grandchildren.
