Sandra I. Dawson Bogardus, 70, of Chester, died on March 22, 2014 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Born in Upper Darby, she was daughter of the late Harry C., III and Mildred Barrow Dawson. Sandy lived in Delaware prior to moving to her late residence 21 years ago. She was employed by the former M.B.N.A., now Bank of America, as a manager.

Sandy was a graduate of Nether Providence High School, class of 1961 and attended Bloomfield College. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she served on the Vestry and sang in the choir.  She was an avid antiquer and the "Best Mom in the World."

Sandy was predeceased by her husband, H. Lee Borgadus, who died in 1988.

Survivors: her daughters, Crista J. Johnson and Dana Maddox; her brother, Richard C. Dawson (Marie); four grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
