Samuel Iacono, Jr., 88, of Folsom died January 23, 2016 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Samuel and Madeleina Carleo Iacono and resided in Chester before moving to his late residence in 1954.
Samuel served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. He was last employed by A.J. Schmidt as a steel fabricator and previously worked for Belmont Iron Works. Samuel was known as a "Mr. Fix It."
Samuel was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Anna T. Polli Iacono, who died January 6, 2014 and his sister-in-law, Mary V. Polli.
Survivors: brother-in-law of Margaret M. Balink; uncle of Drew Balink and John Keith Balink (Megan); and great uncle of John Keith Balink, II, Andrew Balink, IV, Terence Balink and Joel Balink.
