Sallie J. Smith Donohue, 68 of Brookhaven died February 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Upland, she lived in Collingdale prior to moving to her late residence 48 years ago.
Sallie was a graduate of Collingdale High School, class of 1963 and worked as a waitress at the Concordville Inn and previously at the Countryhouse. Sallie was a two time cancer survivor. She enjoyed trips to Memphis and other traveling, but most important was being with her family especially her cherished grandchildren.
She was the loving wife of the late John P. "Jack" Donohue, Jr. who died November 3, 2010 after 44 years of marriage and daughter of the late Mae W. Osterly Neider and Frank Nieder.
Survivors: mother of Patrick F. Donohue (Melanie), Kellie D. Vaccaro (John) and Matthew C. Donohue (Jennifer); sister of Raymond Smith, Shirley Ballard and Nancy Taylor; also Nene to Hunter, Chance, Allie, Jack and Lexie.
Celebration of Life: 10:30 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 9:30 AM
