Ruth Zurinsky (nee Tkachuk), 98, of Essington, died on March 19, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James S. and Anna Sosiak Tkachuk.  Ruth was a graduate of John Bartram High School, class of 1942 and has been a resident of Essington since 1952.

She was the wife of the late Russel Zurinsky, mother of Russel Zurinsky, R. Keith Zurinsky (Maureen), and the late Ruthann Gay Zurinsky and R. Scott Zurinsky. Ruth was also sister of the late Reuben J. Tkachuk.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
