Obituary
Ruth I. Smith 88, of Elizabethtown, died on January 16, 2014.
Ruth was born in Philadelphia and had been a Darby resident for 49 years, and lived in Oxford for 11 years, before moving to the Masonic Village of Elizabethtown.
Ruth devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Darby Presbyterian Church, the Oxford Presbyterian Church and also was a member of Friendship Chapter No. 551 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Ruth was wife of the late James E. Smith and mother of the late David, her youngest child, who passed away in December 2013.
Survivors: her loving children Jim (Patty), Joan (Jim), Lorrie (Len) and Geri. She will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her five living siblings.
Funeral Service 12Noon Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 11:00AM. Burial private.
