Ruth P. McBride (nee O'Hagan), 95, formerly of the Grays Ferry section of South Philadelphia, died peacefully on January 30.  She was the daughter of the late James and Anna O'Hagan and was predeceased by her loving husband, Leo; and her son, Thomas.

Ruth is survived by her children, Kate Palmer (Bob), Michael, Greg (Joanne), Marie Weiss (the late Ernie), Leo (Cindy), Peggy Somaya (Ram), Frank (Rose), Kevin (Michael), Christine Cawley, Nancy Williams (Mark); also, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was an avid reader and a passionate Notre Dame football fan, but her love and devotion to her family was unsurpassed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 8 at 12:00 Noon at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends and relatives may call from 11:00 to 11:45 AM.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be may be made to the above church at 110 Park St. Ridley Park, PA.
