Ruth Eleanor "Ellie" Saylor Moyer 87 of Southampton, died on September 26, 2016 at Southampton Estates.
Born in Kimberton, she was a longtime resident of Aston and lived at Granite Farms before moving to her late residence three years ago.
Ellie was an active member of Mount Hope United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Spring City High School and loved sewing, crocheting and crossword puzzles. Ellie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Ellie was the wife of the late Harold L. Moyer, Sr., her husband of 59 years, who died in 2007, mother of the late Robert P. Moyer and daughter of the late William and Julia Bauer Saylor.
She is survived by her children, Susan R. Cox (Robert) and Harold L. Moyer, Jr. (Patty); her sister, Ann Marie Moyer; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral Service 11:00AM Friday, September 30, 2016 at Mount Hope United Methodist Church, 4020 Concord Road, Aston where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
