Ruth Ann (Griffis) Adams-Moore, 81, of Ridley Park, PA, passed away on November 5, 2024. Born and raised in Trainer, she was a graduate of Ridley Park High School.
Ruth Ann was retired from the Boeing Company where she worked as an Executive Assistant. During her career she also worked for the Borough of Ridley Park and Scott Paper Company Headquarters.
She was the daughter of the late John I and Thelma A Griffis and a sister Nancy Mae. She was predeceased by her husband Robert H. Moore.
Ruth Ann loved the pure joy of being a mother and raising her three daughters. Then came the joy of watching her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Ruth Ann loved without judgment and always believed the best about others.
She was a long-time member of Ridley Park Presbyterian Church where she served as a trustee and an elder for many years. At the church Bazaar you could find her selling baked goods at the bake table. Over the years she served as Sunday School and Bible School teacher. She also felt very passionate about the Alpha course.
She is survived by her three daughters Traci Graf (Jeff), Ginger Adams, Holly Pratt (Jason), her granchildren Jeff Graf (Melissa), Summer Graf Grapper (Matt), Olivia Graf, Eoin Marshall (who lived with her), Wyatt Marshall, Willow Marshall, Sophia Pratt, Jack Pratt, great-granddaughter Avery Graf.
A visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park and a Memorial Service will be held at the church at 5:30 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
