Russel Zurinsky, Jr., 77 of Essington died on November 27, 2024 at his home.  Born in Ridley Park, the son of the late Russel and Ruth Tkachuck Zurinsky, Russel grew up in Essington and lived in Casselberry, FL before returning to live in Essington in 1988.
Russel was a graduate of Ridley Park High School, class of 1965 and received a bachelor's degree in business from Pennsylvania Military College (now Widener University) in 1969.  Before his retirement, Russel was an Agent at American Airlines.  He was a life member of the Tinicum Township Fire Company and of the NRA and was also a member of various Plane and Pilot Associations.  Russel was a Certified Pilot and his life's passion was flying land and sea planes.  Russel's hobbies included scuba diving, traveling and photography.
He was the brother of R. Keith Zurinsky (Maureen) and the late Ruthann Gay Zurinsky and R. Scott Zurinsky.
Funeral Service 10:30 AM Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
