Roy R. Withers, of Ridley Park, died May 16, 2018 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. He was born in New London, CT.

An "Army Brat," Roy was a graduate of Parker City High School in Indiana after attending 18 schools in 12 years. He served in the US Army and was employed by Reynolds & Reynolds before retiring in 2008. Roy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Media and loved to read, play computer games, watch internet TV, cooking shows and old car restoration shows. Most important to Roy was his love for his wife and their extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Roy Russell, Jr. and May Ruth Darrow Withers; and his siblings, James Withers, Mike Withers and Shirley Withers King.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gayle D. Wilson Withers; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Visitation: 10:00-11:30 AM Monday, May 21, 2018 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, followed by a funeral service.
