Rosella F. Merker Dezzi, 96, of Milmont Park died December 18, 2015 at Brandywine Assisted Living in Toms River, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Jacob and Pauline Becker Merker, she lived in Southwest Philadelphia prior to moving to Milmont Park.
Mrs. Dezzi was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church where she was in the Sodality. She was a former member of This and That Ladies Group and enjoyed reading, talking and being with her grandchildren and friends.
She was wife of the late James H. Dezzi who died in 1998 after 56 years of marriage, mother of the late James W. Dezzi, also predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors: grandmother of MaryAnn Johnson, Julia Escobar and Lauren Dezzi, also five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Funeral Mass: 11 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave, Milmont Park where friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM.
Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
