Obituary

Rose E. Moleski Stanolis, 102, of Aston, died January 12, 2015 at her home. Born in Centralia, PA, Rose was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Bodgan Moleski and lived in Aston for over 70 years. She was employed as a presser for Chester Apparel for over 20 years.

Rose was a member of the Church of Saint Joseph, the Brookhaven and Aston Seniors and the Aston Lioness Club. She collected Hummels, commemorative plates, refinished antiques and liked to crochet. Rose enjoyed time with her family especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank E. Stanolis, who died August 31, 1984; her sons, Frank Stanolis, Jr. and Raymond J. Stanolis; her siblings, Frank J. Moleski and Michaeline M. Malinowski; and her great granddaughter, Laci Rose White.


Rose was the mother of Michael J. Stanolis, Rosemary A. Stanolis and Mark Stanolis; mother-in-law of Anna Mae Stanolis; and was also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.


Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Church of Saint Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston

Visitation: 8:15 to 9:15 AM Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston



Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery
