Rose Kalogredis (nee) Simeonidis died on April 20, 2022.  Rose was a loving, caring and always smiling individual. She was always happy in the moment, and nothing made her happier than her family. She was a dedicated and most loving wife to her husband John. He passed away in 2009, after 61 years of marriage. She missed him deeply. But she was also a great mother to her 2 children, great Yiayia to her 4 grandchildren and great Big Yiayia to her 6 great grandchildren.

She was also an ardent Greek Orthodox Christian. She sang in the Choirs on St. George Greek Orthodox Church in New Bedford, MA. and then at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media, PA. after moving to West Chester, PA. in 1985. Before COVID changed the world, Rose would never miss a Sunday Liturgy.

Rose had a positive outlook on life, she was not one to speak ill of anyone.  She positively impacted the lives of many people. She will be missed. But she will not be forgotten.

Rose was the loving wife of the late John V. Kalogredis; mother of Vasilios J. "Bill" and his wife Stephanie and the late Sophia Sakelaris (John). Cherished Yia Yia of Maria Kalogredis Weede (Shawn), John V. Kalogredis (Katina) Nicholas Sakelaris and Christopher Sakelaris (Rachel). Big Yia Yia to Sophia, Vaia, Juliette, Eleanora, Thomas and Theodore. Sister of Helen Gournaris (Anthony) and the late Mary Kavallieros and Nicholas Simeonidis.

Funeral Service 11:00Am Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E. Forge Road, Media, PA 19063 where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial Philadelphia Memorial Park.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Building Fund at the above Church.
