Rose R. "Jean" Healy Glavin, 84, of Ridley Park, died February 8, 2012 at her home surrounded by her daughter's family.

Born in Fairview, NJ, Mrs. Glavin lived in Southwest Philadelphia prior to moving to her late residence in 1958.

She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church and the St. Rose Seniors. Jean volunteered at Taylor Hospital and enjoyed Arts and Crafts, crosswords puzzles, gardening and was an avid reader and Phillies Fan. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was wife of the late Denis J. Glavin, Jr who died October 21, 1996 after 49 years of marriage, daughter of the late William F. and Edna M. Hinds Healey and sister of the late Edna Coleman and William Healy.

Survivors: mother of Catherine "Cass" Kennedy (Tom), Edward W. Glavin, Regina Lally (Frank) and Denis J. Glavin, III (Linda), sister of Frank Healy and Mary Ulsh, also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren

Funeral Mass: 10 AM Monday, February 13, 2012 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA

Visitation: 9 to 9:45 AM Monday at the church

Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
