Obituary

Rose C. Bolestria (also Balestrieri) 91 of Ridley Park died May 20, 2014 at Taylor Hospital.

Born in Chester, Rose lived at her late residence for the past 56 years. She was a secretary at Mediquip for 22 years until her retirement three weeks ago and previously worked at Baldwin- Lima- Hamilton Locomotive Company.

Rose was a graduate of Chester High School and a member of the Church of St. Madeline and the Sodality where she was a daily communicant.

She was devoted to her Catholic faith, family and friends and was loved by all. In celebrating her life, Rose was an independent woman who worked every day, drove, attended daily Mass, maintained her household and was the matriarch for the entire family up until her going Home.

Rose was a daughter of the late Luigi and Concetta D'Amato Balestrieri and sister of the late Louis Bostur, Philip Balestrieri, Mary Balestrieri, Philomeno Falasca, Lucy Rendina and Virginia Bolestria.

Survivors: her sister Palmera Cassamassi DeBardino, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and very loyal friends.

Funeral Mass 10:30AM Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call 9:15 to 10:15AM. Burial Immaculate Heart Cemetery.
