Robert M. Waite, 59, of Ridley Park, died on December 26, 2014, at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Bryn Mawr, Bob lived in Folcroft before moving to his late residence ten years ago. He was the Manager at Dolan's Bar in Ridley Park for the past 37 years. He graduated from Interboro High School in 1973 where he excelled in baseball and basketball. Bobby continued to play baseball and softball with various Delaware County Leagues. An avid baseball fan, he recently fulfilled a lifelong dream by visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.



Bobby was loved by his family and many friends. Known for his pleasant smile and willingness to help all, Bobby will always live on in the hearts of those who love him.



Bobby was son of the late Alfred M. and Margaret Madden Waite and brother of the late Letitia Arnett. He is survived by his loving companion and caregiver Stephanie Lavin; siblings Jeffrey Waite (Kelly) and Patty Ann Kehs (Pete); nieces Kimberly Arnett, Ellen Kehs and Kayla Waite, nephews Dylan Kehs and Alex Waite, aunts, uncles and many cousins and friends.



Bobby was a selfless man and at his request was a donor to Humanity Gifts.




Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 11am followed by a Sharing of Memories at 1pm at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park. Burial private.
