Robert J. Talone, Jr., 77, of Woodlyn, died April 2, 2019 at his home. Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Helen Duralia Talone and resided in Chester before moving to his late residence in 1988.

Robert was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1959 and attended the University of Pennsylvania and St. Joseph's. He was employed by Nationwide Insurance and previously Sharon Savings. Robert was a freelance photographer for Town Talk and won awards for his pictures in Field & Stream, PA Magazine.

He was an avid Philadelphia Sports Fan. He was known for his sharp comedic wit and was the "King" of one liners. Robert loved nature, fishing, the beach and was a birder, but most important he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

He was the loving husband of Elizabeth M. "Betsy" Dougherty Talone, his wife of 50 years; devoted father of Robert M. Talone and Joseph T. Talone, Sr.; cherished grandfather to his twin grandchildren, Joseph T., Jr. and Sophia M. Talone; brother to Victoria McKenna (Bill); also survived by nieces, nephews and an extended family.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM Monday at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 200 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA 19033, where relatives and friends may call from 9:30-10:30 AM.

Burial: Eastlawn Cemetery
