Robert J. Swantek, Jr., 66 of Folsom died on January 31, 2024.  Born in Chester, the son of the late Robert and Alice Galinis Swantek, he lived in Brookhaven for many years before moving to Folsom one year ago.
Bob was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1976 and also attended Delaware County Community College.  He had been employed as a mechanic at Boeing for 30 years before retiring in 2017.  Bob was an avid sports fan and had coached the Chester East Little League.  He also loved traveling, listening to music, going to concerts and playing the drums.  He also had a passion for restoring old cars, especially his Dodges.  He was also a "Mr. Fix-it" and was able to repair anything that Barbara broke.
He was the loving husband of 27 years to Barbara Robertson Swantek, brother of Maggie Baptie (Jeff), Sue Giddings (Curt) and the late Edward M. Swantek, uncle of the late Eddie Swantek, Jr., son-in-law of Barbara Robertson and he is also survived by four nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
