Robert W. Perkins, Sr., 74, of Ridley Park, died December 10, 2013 at Taylor Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Southwest Philadelphia before moving to his late residence 17 years ago.


Robert worked for Kurz Hastings Company, Inc. for 48 years. He was a member of the Local Teamsters #115 and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and loved his Harley, but most important was his devotion to his family.


He was predeceased by his parents, William Robert and Mary Rooney Perkins and his brother, Larry Perkins.


Survivors: loving wife of 55 years, Phyllis J. Bevan Perkins; children, Renee' Fellows (Eric), Robert W. Perkins, Jr., Debbie Buccino, Kurt Perkins (Maria) and Marc Perkins (Jennifer); brother, Joseph Perkins (Maryann); sister, Patsy Melchiore; 13 grandchildren and Five great grandchildren.


Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where friends may call after 12 Noon.
