1931-2016


Robert "Bob" M. Faverio, 85 of Aston died October 8, 2016 at Pembrooke Nursing Home.  Born in Chester, son of the late Louis P. and Mary Albany Faverio, he had been a resident of Aston for the past 51 years.

Bob was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1949 where he excelled at baseball and basketball.  Bob was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War.  He was employed at Phoenix Steel for 31 years and then worked for the County of Delaware Fair Acres for 10 years.  He was a member of The Church of St. Joseph, the American Legion and the  Steel Workers of America.  Bob loved going to the beach with his family and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

He was husband of the late Eleanor M. Sarminski Faverio who died January 20, 2006 after 44 years of marriage, brother of the late Daniel Faverio and Louis "Peter" Faverio, III, and grandfather of the late Trey Patrick Davis.

Survivors: father of Deanna M. Moye (Bill), Martin J. Faverio, Robert J. Faverio (Lisa) and Teresa A. Davis (Brett), brother of Doris Stahl.  He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Christina, Matthew, Kyle(Valerie), Samantha, Stephanie, Kellen, and Braden, and two great-grandchildren, Amy and Jaxon.

Funeral Mass: 10 AM Friday at the Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Rd., Aston

Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd. Aston and 8:45 to 9:45 AM Friday at the above church

Burial: Immaculate Heart Cemetery
