Robert C. Jones, 76 of Ridley Park died December 18, 2010 at his home.
Born in Essington, PA he was a lifelong resident of Ridley Park
Mr. Jones was last employed as a secretary at Conrail for thirty years.
A graduate of Ridley Township High School, Class of 1952 he served four years in the U.S. Navy and then continued with the Naval Reserves.
He was a member of the Church of St. Madeline, enjoyed playing the piano, and loved gardening and cooking.
Mr. Jones was son of the late Edward and Helen Jarek Jones and brother of the late Edward Jones, Jr.
Survivors:Sister; Sallie A. DiMascio (Anthony) of Brookhaven, nephews; Charles Walker of Brookhaven and Robert Walker (Trish) of Woolwich, NJ.
Funeral Mass 10:00AM Tuesday at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call from 9:00 to 9:45AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
