Robert Taylor "Bob" Hannum, 93, of Aston was called home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2023. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Alban and Ethel Drake Hannum. He lived in Marcus Hook before moving to Aston in 1966. Bob was a graduate of Eddystone High School, Class of 1948. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a machinist at Scott Paper Company for 40 years before his retirement in 1992. He previously worked at A.H. Wirz.
Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ogden. After his retirement, he enjoyed volunteering at Fair Acres playing his harmonica for residents. Bob was an artist with a creative spirit and everyone's handyman. He spent so much of his time helping others. Bob enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing and retreats at Sandy Cove.
He was a Philadelphia sports fan - cheering on the Phillies, Eagles and Union Soccer. He also loved watching game shows. Perhaps his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. He adored family gatherings for Birthday celebrations and Holiday dinners. He also loved playing and interacting with our family dog, Ranger.
