Robert F. Hamson, 68, formerly of Milmont Park, died January 7, 2019 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Anna Marie McAdams Hamson and previously resided in Ridley Park.

Robert was a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School, class of 1968 and was self-employed. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, the Knights of Columbus and Peace Council. Robert was an avid reader and loved music. He was a lifelong fan of Notre Dame and enjoyed traveling to various games.

Robert was predeceased by his wife, Susan F. Long Hamson, who died January 23, 2016; and his brother, William Hamson.

He was the father of Jeffrey Hamson (Theresa), Adrienne Niles (Brian) and Melissa Mullen (Scott); grandfather of Sarah, Emily, Joshua, Sarah and Xavier; and brother of Michael Hamson and Jennifer Dastalfo-Leonard. Robert also loved his dear cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends near and far.

Visitation: 7-9 PM Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078 and 8:45-9:45 AM Saturday at church.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, 1000 Fairview Road, Swarthmore, PA 19081.

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
