Robert "Bob" J. Catoia

Robert J. “Bob” Catoia, 81, of West Grove, passed away peacefully at his home on January 30, 2026. Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Lesenovich) Catoia. Bob lived in Thornton, Pennsylvania for many years before moving to West Grove in 2022.

Bob was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, Class of 1962, and the Philadelphia Wireless Technical Institute. He proudly served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and was the owner and operator of Penn-Del Heating and Air Conditioning. After his son took over the business, Bob pursued another passion and opened an Italian specialty store and restaurant, Best of Italy, with locations in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and Hockessin, Delaware. An avid cook, Bob truly loved sharing his love of food with others.

He was a member of the Ridley Township Business Association and served as a board member of the Brinton Lake Colony. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking, but above all, he cherished time spent with his loving family—especially his beloved grandsons.

Bob was the devoted husband of Lucy A. (Rossi) Catoia; loving father of Andrea M. Catoia and Robert A. Catoia (LaRain); proud grandfather of Robert M. and Preston R. Catoia; and brother of Anthony M. “Tony” Catoia (Maryann).

Friends and relatives may call after 9:30 AM on February 6, 2026, at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 AM, followed by a military service. Burial will be private.
