Robert Charles Bartholomew Jr., 74, of Glen Mills died Sunday, May 24 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. He was born in Boothwyn and was a lifelong resident of Chester and Delaware Counties. Bob was the son of Robert Charles Bartholomew Sr. of West Chester and Etta Bartholomew Mawson of Glen Mills.

He was a 1963 graduate of Henderson High School and graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. degree in Forestry. Over the years, Bob worked for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, in the landscaping industry and in various restaurant and construction businesses. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed playing cards. Bob was an avid fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Philadelphia Phillies.

He is survived by his mother; daughters, Gabrielle Bartholomew of Denver, CO, and Miranda Rodriguez (Cesar) of Downingtown; brother, David T. Bartholomew of West Chester; sister, Cheryl B. Caswell (Bruce) of Charleston, WV; two grandchildren, Maya and Julia of Downingtown; and other family members who loved him.
