Rita T. Anderson Martin, 90, of Prospect Park, died December 22, 2014, at Taylor Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ellen McKeown Anderson, she lived in Ridley Park prior to moving to her late residence in 1995.




Rita was a seamstress and co-owned Martin's Draperies with her husband for 35 years before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed crafts, the casino's and being with her family.




Rita was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Chester A. Martin, who died in 1991; and her siblings, Marie Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Catherine McClosky, James Anderson and Francis Anderson.




She was the mother of Eileen M. Oswald (Late David H.), grandmother of David A. Oswald and Kevin S. Oswald; also many nieces and nephews




Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Friday, December 26, 2014, at Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends may call after 9:00 AM




Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
