Richard A. Wright, 59 of Thornton, died September 18, 2012 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Chester, he lived in Aston before moving to his late residence twenty years ago.
He retired from the Delaware County Daily Times after 33 years of service as Circulation Manager. Richard was an entrepreneur who owned and operated Pre-Pak Corporation, doing business as Logo Express and also was an Insurance Broker for A & L Insurance Agency.
He was a graduate of Ridley High School, Class of 1971. Rich was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Concord Country Club, the Bethlehem U.M. Church and loved golfing, Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies and enjoyed cooking and eating.
He was most passionate for his love and devotion to his family and his two dogs, T.J. and Cocoa and his many friends.
Richard was the son of the late George E. "Bud" and Mary Murtaugh Wright and brother of the late Maureen A. Hornberger.
Survivors: his wife of 28 years, Karen A. Greto Wright; children, Richard A. Wright, Jr. (Debbie), Michelle Lavin (Kevin), Brad S. Graziano (Dana), Taylor K. Wright and Lexi J. Wright; brother George E. "Sparky" Wright (Helen); grandchildren, Richie, III, Ryan, Brendan, Daniel, Kelli and Mia; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Funeral Service 12:00Noon Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA 19382 where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:45AM. Burial private.
