Richard H. Pinnock, 79, of Eddystone, died June 21, 2015 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Born in Chester, son of the late Robert R. and Ethel Corkadel Pinnock, he lived in Crum Lynne before moving to his last residence over 40 years ago.
Richard was a graduate of St. James High School and worked on the Chester Bridgeport Ferry where he met the love of his life, Loretta. Richard was employed as a brakeman for Conrail for 32 years before retiring in 1998. He loved watching golf and baseball, playing poker and going to the casino, but most important to him was his family.
Richard was the loving husband of Loretta J. Oliver Pinnock, his wife of 57 years; devoted father of Richard H. Pinnock (Nancy), Susan M. Wagner, Debra J. Pinnock Cipressi, Karen A. Brennan (Thomas), Nancy A. Jenzano and David J. Pinnock (Joanne); grandfather of Dana, Christina, Brian, Kacie, Brooke, Noah and Chris and Alex Waite; and the brother of Ethel Mae Lewis (Charles), Ronald Pinnock (Barbara) and the late Robert Pinnock (June) and Rose Marie Pinnock. He was Uncle Richie to dozens of nieces, nephews and extended family.
