RIchard J. Peterson

Richard J. Peterson, 79 of Folsom died on March 22, 2026 at his home. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Florence Hilda West Bartow and Clarence "Jim" Taylor Bartow.

Richard was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1965 and while growing up enjoyed playing baseball at Swarthmorewood. He was a proud veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. For the past 20 years, he had been employed as a Bartender at the Ramada Inn in Essington. Richard loved his cat Kingsley.

He was the brother of Kenneth Bartow (Kathy) and the late James D. Bartow, he was also the loving uncle of Samantha and Kenny.

Services and burial will be held privately.
