Richard J. Lubicky, 84 formerly of Sharon Hill and Ridley Township died on January 18, 2025.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Sarah Mulgrew Roberts.

Richard was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, class of 1958 and was a veteran of the US Army Reserves.  He was last employed at Stech Warehousing and had previously had a long career as an Agent at E.H. Divine Insurance Company.  Richard was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church and was active and coached in the Delco Football League.  He was also involved in local politics and was formerly the Judge of Elections in Ridley Township.  Richard enjoyed trips to Sea Isle with his late wife and spending time with his family.

He was the husband of the late Mary Ann Lubicky (nee Westenberger), father of Rosemarie Robinson (Richard), Marianne Garvey (James), Patricia Gibson (Jason), Sara Kennedy, Richard J. "Rocky" Lubicky (Brittany) and the late infant son Richard J. Lubicky, Jr., brother of  the late Sarah Handlon, grandfather of Kevin, Ethan, Katelyn, Marina, Jamie, Jada, Jason, Kayleigh, Gavin, Rori, Declan and Scarlett and was the great-grandfather of Olivia.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Friday, January 24, 2025 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, 1000 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore where relatives and friends may call 9:45 to 10:45 AM.  Burial will follow is SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
