Richard Lenz, 93, of Ridley Park died on January 22, 2023 at his home. He was the son of the late Connie and Alice Glenn Lenz of Prospect Park and Drexel Hill.

Richard was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, class of 1946. After graduation, he went into the US Navy and then proceeded to graduate from Pennsylvania Military College (Widener) in 1952. He was employed as a Specialty Sales Representative for A.K. Steel until his retirement in 1991.

Richard was a real family man and loved his family above all else. He enjoyed playing backyard games with his children and grandchildren which made them all very competitive. He was an avid golfer and shot an 88 as he celebrated his 88th birthday. Richard enjoyed going to the beach with his family and watching Philadelphia sports teams.

Richard was husband of the late Suzanne Sweeney Lenz who died on August 5, 2022 after 68 years of marriage. He was father of Tara Galaydick (Stephen), Gail Ferrigno, David Lenz, Melinda Grugan (Jim) and the late Michael Lenz, brother of Shirley Keller (Charles) and grandfather of Bradley Galaydick, Jennifer Ferrigno (Michael Horowitz), Jamie Ferrigno and Jimmy Grugan.
