Obituary

Richard Kilpatrick, 75, of Hamlin, PA and formerly of Ridley Park, died December 4, 2020 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA.  Born in Chester, he was the son of the late John E., Sr. and Gladys M. Shields Kilpatrick.

Richard was a graduate of Interboro High School, class of 1966 and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was employed by Scott Paper Co., now Kimberly Clark, for 37 years before retiring in 2006.  Richard was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Hamlin, former member of St. James Episcopal Church in Prospect Park and St. Paul's P.E. Church, where he was active with Boy Scout Troop #180 for 20 years.  He loved fishing, bowling and was an avid traveler who enjoyed cruise trips, but most important was time with his family.

He was the loving husband of Judith A. Wimmer Kilpatrick, his wife of 50 years; devoted father of Rebecca F. Curlett (John) and Melissa K. Bozzuto (John); grandfather of Jacob and William Curlett and Adrianna, Max and Nate Bozzuto; and brother of John E. Kilpatrick, Jr. (Maryellen), Gary D. Kilpatrick (Elaine), Barry M. Kilpatrick and Mark E. Kilpatrick.

Graveside Service:  12:15 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA  19342.
