Richard L. Holefelder, 48, of Essington, died September 17, 2016 at home. Born in Middletown Township, he lived most of his life in Brookhaven before moving to his late residence 25 years ago.

Richard was employed by K.A. Gieder Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at Smedley Park skipping rocks, hiking and fishing and he recently started researching historic events.

Richard is survived his parents, Albert F. and Margaret I. Hollar Holefelder; his wife, Darlene DiDonato and her children, Stephen, Keith (Dana) and Jessica (Matt); their grandchildren, Cole, James, McKenzie, McKayla, Logan, Lennon and Morice; and his siblings, Margaret D. Gualtieri (John) and Michael Holefelder (Judy).

Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00PM Monday, September 26, 2016 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014, with a Memorial Service at 6:00PM.
