Obituary

Richard L. Bower, 76 of Brookhaven, died March 6, 2013 at his home.

Born in Williamsport, he has lived at his late residence for the past 46 years.

He was a Mechanical Engineer at the Naval Air Propulsion Center in Trenton, NJ before retiring in 1991.

Mr. Bower served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Ridley Park United Methodist Church, Prospect Park Lodge #578, F.& A.M., the Tall Cedars, Breezewood Acres Fire Company and the Gideons International.

He was son of the late Russell Bower and brother of the late John Bower.

Survivors; his wife of 48 years, Vera Smith Bower; his mother Margaret Bonnell Bower; his children Laurie Pflugh (Robert) and Alan Bower (Susan); also grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael Bower; Robert, Kelly and Kayla Pflugh.

Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA where friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45AM. A Masonic Service will be held at 10:45AM.

Entombment Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
