Richard W. Barchock 55 of Newark, DE died on November 4, 2015 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana.

He was born in Chester and has been a lifelong resident of Delaware. He was last employed at Moe's Southwest Grill and previously was self-employed at Barba's Village Shoppe.

Richard graduated from Concord High School, class of 1978 and also Widener University Delaware County Campus. He attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and enjoyed paintball, cooking, Delaware beaches, crabbing, clamming and was an avid Oakland Raiders fan.

Richard was the loving husband of Brenda Lee Sminkey Barchock, his wife of 34 years; devoted father of Richard W. "Rick" Barchock, Jr. and Jack Nicholas Barchock; cherished son of Nicholas H., Jr and Ann Wynne Barchock. He is also survived by his sisters, Cherylann Menkins (Jack Mattie) and Joyce Lynne Myers (Glenn); also nieces, nephews and his extended family.

Funeral Service 11:30AM Monday, November 9, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
