1919-2017


Rhea Henry Taylor, 97, oldest born and raised resident of Ridley Park died March 23, 2017.  Rhea was a teacher within the Ridley School District and the Chester Christian Day School.


She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel Bruce and Laura Leap Simpkins Henry; her son, David A. Taylor; and her sisters, Adele Haabestad and Dorothea Holtsinger.


Rhea is survived by her children, Porter L. Howard (Vicki), Susanne R. Chester (Bill), Robert S. Howard (Debbie) and Audrey L. Taylor Stevens; also, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Funeral Service:  1:00 PM Monday, March 27, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, where friends may call after 12 Noon. Burial private.
