Regina Anne Paul Schembs, 91, of Ridley Park, died September 8, 2019 at Sterling Healthcare & Rehab Center. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Lansdowne, she was the daughter of the late Charles Erhard and Regina Maude Walton Paul, and resided in Yeadon before moving to her late residence in 1955.
Regina attended St. Philomena's in Lansdowne, Notre Dame and St. Monica's Commercial School in Philadelphia. She was employed as a Receiving Clerk at Strawbridge and Clothier for 34 years before retiring. She was last employed by Kohl's and Kmart.
Regina was a member of the Church of St. Madeline and the Schoolhouse Center for 10 years, where she loved to do crafts. She was a volunteer at Taylor Hospital for 17 years, enjoyed traveling and was an avid walker. Regina loved cooking Sunday dinners and holidays because most important was her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Schembs, Sr. and her sister, Catherine Moyer.
Regina is survived by her sons, Richard F. Schembs, Jr. and Charles W. Schembs; her sisters, Mary Williams, Jeanette Thoden and Caroline Burns; her brother-in-law, Lewis Moyer; also, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy: 10:30 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park, PA 19078, where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.
Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery
