Regina M. "Jeanne" Meier Gimber, 85
Former Longtime Resident of Folcroft
Regina M. "Jeanne" Meier Gimber, 85 of Media, died April 2, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, Mrs. Gimber lived in Folcroft prior to moving to her late residence five years ago.
She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph in Aston where she volunteered as a lunch aide at their school. Jeanne was also a member of the St. Eugene Seniors, Collingdale Seniors and the Primos-Secane Swim Club. She enjoyed shopping, bingo and the daily lottery, but most important was her devotion to her family.
She was wife of the late Frank A. Gimber who died in 1978, daughter of the late Harry and Mary Proudlove Meier, and sister of the late Marge Stitzer, Harry and Robert Meier.
Survivors: daughters; Donna Spencer (Michael Masishin) and Trina Gimber (Charles Hance), granddaughter Jill Spencer Palladino (Jeffrey), also survived by a dear friend Joseph Spencer.
Funeral Service: 10 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park
Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Friday and after 9 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
