Ralph J. Mader, Sr. of Aston died June 26, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in Trainer, he lived in Boothwyn before moving to his late residence 57 years ago.
He was a mechanic at the former Scott Paper Company in Chester for 37 years, before retiring in 1990.
Mr. Mader was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.
He was an avid Phillies fan, fisherman and hunter and was a member of the Delaware County Field and Stream Club,and a past member of the Delco Anglers and the Shadyside Gun Club.
Mr. Mader was husband of the late Helen E. Mader, his wife of 56 years who died on February 7, 2011, grandfather of the late Bryanna and was predeceased by four siblings.
He is survived by his children Ralph J. Mader, Jr (Michele), William J. Mader (Patty) and Donna Jean Smith (Tim), his grandchildren Jesse, Devin, Sean, Shannon, Billy, Timmy and Joey, great grandchildren Mar-Mar, Sean, Reese and Gianna, also his sister Theresa Rhoads.
Funeral Service 10:00AM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 8:45AM. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
