Ralph H. Carroll, 90, lifelong resident of Aston passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020 at Springfield Enhanced Living.  Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Clarence Atwood Carroll and John and Myrtle Marie Hartman.

Ralph served in the US Marines during the Korean War and was employed by Matlack Trucking as a Driver before retiring in 1994.  He was a member of the Herbert W. Best VFW Post #928 and the Teamsters Local 312, in Chester.  Ralph was a former member of the Aston Beechwood Fire Co., where he was a driver and an officer.  He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching westerns, but most important was spending time with his family.

Ralph was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Alma Imperatrice Carroll, who died May 9, 2017; and his siblings, Jean Garcia, Rex Carroll and Dolores Privette.

He was the father of Almarie Atwood; grandfather to Melissa Ebright (Mike), Shannon Yarosz (Joshua), Denise DiRosato (Anthony) and Carrie Ross (Eric); great grandfather to Michael, Tyler, Taylor, Lucy, Nico, Nathan and Aaron; and great great grandfather to Jade; also, survived by his dear friends, Kelly and Michael Arthur, Robert Waite and Donna Brown.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, services and burial will be private.
