Ralph A. Boccella 82, of Milmont Park, Sunrise on October 25, 1933, Sunset on November 11, 2015 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.

Born in Castelfranci, Prov of Avellino, Italy, Ralph sailed to the United States on the Andrea Dora in 1955 and settled in Chester before moving to his late residence in 1968.

He was a machine operator at the former Scott Paper Company for 29 years, retiring in 1994 and previously was a baker for Eros Bakery. He was a member of the Over 50 Club.

Ralph was an avid vegetable and flower gardener who also harvested fruits from his trees, including figs, mulberry, persimmons, apples and many more which he shared with others. He cared for all animals, especially cats. He also enjoyed sharing his homemade wine and listening to Italian music with others. Ralph was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church.

Ralph was the son of the late Antonio and Angela Boccella and was predeceased by two brothers and five step-siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maria Ricciardi Boccella; his daughters, Angela Tecce (Antonio), Louise Avellino and Antoinette MacIntyre (Christopher); his sister Michelina Coscia; also eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
