Obituary

Phyllis Galone Melko, 88, of Ridley Township died February 5, 2021 at her home.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Anthony and Marie Mirena Galone and moved to her late residence 50 years ago.
Phyllis ("Philomena") was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School, class of 1950, and was employed as a Secretary for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.  She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church and her high school Alumni Association.  Phyllis enjoyed bowling and the beach, but most important was her devotion to her home and family.
She was predeceased by her sister, Carmela Mangano.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, John Melko (Deborah) and Steve Melko (Brenda); her siblings, Manny Galone (Mariane), Carmen Galone (Lorraine) and Barbara Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass:  10:00 AM Thurs., Feb. 11, 2021 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022, where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM.
Burial:  Holy Cross Cemetery
