Peter Skoutelas, 86, of Glen Mills formerly of Holland, PA, died March 15, 2013 at Abington Hospice at Warminster surrounded by his loving family. Born in Kerasevo, Greece, Mr. Skoutelas was reared in Thessaloniki before coming to the USA in 1956, with his wife and two young sons, settling in Chester. Peter and his family lived in Bucks County until he and his wife moved to Glen Mills, Delaware County five years ago.

Peter owned and operated Peter's Pancake House & Family Restaurant in Feasterville for over a period of three decades before retiring in 1994. He served in the Greek Army and was a survivor of a Labor Camp and POW Camp during World War II. Mr. Skoutelas served on the Board and on the Housing Committee at. St. George Cathedral in Philadelphia. He was a former member of AHEPA and the Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce. Most important was Peter's devotion to his faith as well as his loving wife and family.

He was father of the late Anthony C. "Tony" Skoutelas, son of the late Nicholas and Katherine Bakoyanis Skoutelas and brother of the late John, Sam, Paul and Demetrios Skoutelas and Julia Claon.

Survivors: his wife of 62 years; Harriet Eliades Skoutelas, sons Paul P. Skoutelas (Denise) and James P. Skoutelas (Maria), daughter-in-law L. Daphne Yiannos Skoutelas, grandfather of Evonne Marinakis (Bill), Katherine Karamatsoukas (John), Perry (Emily), Peter (Christina), Paul, Alex, Panos, Charrissa and Ariana, great-grandfather of Angela, James, Anna and Demetrios.

Funeral Service: 11 AM Wednesday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E. Forge Rd., Media, PA 19063 (Middletown Township), where friends may call after 10 AM.
