Peter P. Russial, Jr., 91, of Ridley Park died peacefully surrounded by family on December 16, 2018 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born and raised in Jonestown, PA, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Mary Everant Russial and moved to his late residence 58 years ago.

Peter was a graduate of Cass Township High School, class of 1945, Penn State University, class of 1951 with a BA in Political Science and Temple Law School, class of 1952. He served in the US Army and was employed by Aviation Supply Office as Chief Counsel for 40 years before retiring in 1989. Peter was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Young at Heart Seniors and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed reading, politics, the 76ers, Eagles, golf and traveling but most important was hanging out with his grand and great grandchildren.

Peter was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Anne M. Dowd Russial, who died August 21, 2001; six sisters and three brothers.

He was a devoted father to Paul Russial (Leanne), David Russial and Mary Louise Shapero (David); cherished grandfather to Alex Shapero (Tina), Emily Giddings (Ian), Michelle Russial and James Russial; great grandfather to Zachary, Sophia, Gianna and Elijah; and brother to Alfred Russial.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022, where relatives and friends may call from 8:45-9:45 AM

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
