Peter J. "Pete" Plousis, 57, of Ridley Twp. Park died July 11, 2017 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Andrew A. & Anna Marie McNelis Plousis and resided in Upper Darby before moving to his late residence in 1991.

Pete was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, Class of 1977, where he played football. He was the Delaware County Player of the Year in 1976 and was inducted into the Upper Darby Hall of Fame in 2014.

Pete loved fishing and going to the shore, but most important was his family, especially his children.

Pete is survived by his sons, Peter T. Plousis (Christine) and Stephen A. Plousis; his brothers, Andrew Plousis, Jr. (Susan), James Plousis and Mark Plousis; and his former wife and friend, Roni Zepp Plousis.
